e-Invoicing Australia

B2BE’s e-invoicing services means one connection with a world of opportunities in Australia

In Australia, over 1.2 billion invoices are being generated and exchanged annually. As of July 2022, all Australian government agencies must use PEPPOL for e-invoicing. The purpose is to strengthen digital infrastructure and minimise the number of scam cases. The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) acts as the Australian PEPPOL Authority. It plays a role in maintaining the list of accredited PEPPOL service providers.

B2BE supports this initiative with its accreditation as a PEPPOL Access Point. B2BE is one of the few providers selected on the PEPPOL Capabilities and Associated Services Panel for the supply of PEPPOL services to Australian government agencies. By working with us, you get immediate access to a secure and wide trading partner network to support your company’s exchange of electronic documents.

Besides PEPPOL, B2BE also supports other e-invoicing methods used in Australia.

Latest news and updates on e-invoicing requirements

Mandatory PINT A-NZ implementation from November 2024

The Peppol PINT format is an international invoice specification introduced by Open Peppol in early 2023. Since then, this format has been adopted by Japan, Malaysia and Singapore.

Australia and New Zealand continue their joint standard moving from the existing ANZ Peppol BIS 3.0 format to the new Peppol PINZ A-NZ format.

All ANZ Service Providers must support the PINT A-NZ by 15 November 2024. The current ANZ BIS 3.0 format will no longer be supported from 15 May 2025. B2BE is already prepared for this transition.
